Tami Rae Townsend, 52, of Alpena passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at home.

Tami Rae Little was born on December 21, 1968 in Canoga Park, California. She worked at Northwood Solutions. On May 15, 2004, she married Darin Townsend. Tami was a member of Friends Together. She enjoyed painting and camping. Tami was a friend and support to many people.

Surviving are her husband, Darin; two daughters, Emily (Bryer) McGinn, Stephanie Melton; two stepchildren, Alan (Heather) Townsend, Tara (Chance) Glomski; grandchildren, Zakkary, Rex, Elliot, Peregrine, and soon-to-be, Allie; mother, Jacqi (Ray) Kaipio; father, Jerry (Kay) Little; half siblings, Brad (Sue) Little, Denise (Michael) Jorgensen; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and camping friends.

Visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. with a private funeral service there Saturday at 2 p.m. with Elder Lynn Field officiating. Livestreaming will be available for those unable to attend at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.
