Kenneth (Ken) F. Luebke passed away January 19, 2020, at home surrounded by loved ones. He was 88 years old and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ken was born on February 26, 1931, to the late Henry and Effie (Patow) Luebke. He served in the United States Navy abroad the DD-732 USS Hyman during the Korean War from 1951-1954. On August 10, 1956, he married Marion (Keegan). She preceded him in death on February 29, 2012, after 55 years of marriage. Ken enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling, and gardening alongside his wife.
Surviving are his four sons, Allen of Madison Heights MI, Lowell (Julie) of Hillman MI, David (Debi) of Montross VA, Charles of Hillman; 3 grandchildren, Joshua (Anne), Michael (Victoria), and Torri (Nate). Also surviving are his brother, Howard and sister-in-law, Elena; sisters-in-law, Joan (Don) LaFleche of Alpena, Pat Keegan of Hillman; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his brother, George; sisters-in-law, Lois Luebke, Norma Gibes; and brother-in-law, Owen Keegan.
Visitation will take place Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church – Royston from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jason Mandley officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
Interment: Hillman Rust Township Cemetery
