Kay Meinzinger, 63, of Atlanta Michigan, passed away on May 16, 2021.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 4pm on Saturday, May 22, at First Baptist Church of Atlanta, 11965 Lake 15 Rd, Atlanta, MI 49709. Tom Faunce will be officiating.
Kay was born in New Baltimore, Michigan on July 29, 1957. She graduated from New Baltimore High School and went on to become an RN through Tennessee Baptist College of Nursing.
Kay was married to Mark Meinzinger on September 11, 1982; they were married 38 years.
Kay worked as a traveling charge nurse, before becoming a full-time wife and mother. She had a passion for creative writing and was proud to have authored a children’s book: Golden Tassel's Graduation. Above all else in life, Kay cherished her relationship with the Lord, and the time she spent with her family. She was known for her hospitality and for her servant's heart. Think of her extra during the Christmas season, her favorite time of year.
Kay is survived by her husband Mark; her four children: Michael (Shawna) Meinzinger, Adam Meinzinger, Kaleb (Megan) Meinzinger, and Danielle (Tom) Meinzinger; and her three grandchildren: Christopher, Chloe and Isaac.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
