Eloise Agnes Shubert, 87, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Sally’s Care Home.
Eloise Reynolds was born June 8, 1934, to the late Curtis and Norma (Diem) Reynolds. She attended AHS and County Normal and completed further education at CMU. Eloise married George Shubert on July 14, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1995.
Eloise was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years. She began her teaching career at the age of 19 in a one room school. Eloise was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and taught religious education, served on various committees and organizations.
Surviving are her son, George (Sally) Shubert; daughter Cindy (Joe) Garber; grandchildren, Brett Thatcher, Joshua (Nicole) Shubert, Nathan Shubert, Marjorie (Matt) Hall; great grandchildren, Raegan Shubert, Brighton Shubert, Kynsleigh Hall; three siblings, Thomas Reynolds, Curtis (Gen) Reynolds, Karen (Greg) Buszka; sister-in-law, Donna Reynolds and brother-in-law, Jay Robarge.
Mrs. Shubert was preceded in death by her siblings, Donna Lou Reynolds, Wilma Jean Reynolds, Richard Reynolds, Lynn Robarge, and Robert Reynolds.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Stachnik officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bannan Funeral Home. Live streaming at bannanfuneralhome.com.
