Wan Yun "Rosa" Greene

Wan Yun ‘Rosa’ Greene, 65, of Alpena passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Besser Senior Living Community.

Chao Wan Yun was born on May 20, 1956, in Pingtung, Taiwan to the late Chao Haitao and Chao (Chang) Yu Ying. On April 25, 1981, she married Robert Greene. Rosa worked at Hunan Restaurant and later the Alpena Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Mahjong, going to the casino, watching American football, and traveling.

Surviving are her husband, Robert; two daughters, Anna Greene, Astrid (Matthew) Fitzpatrick; granddaughter, Montserrat Alcala; and two sisters, Chao Wan Ching, Chao Wan Ting; and brother, Chao Meng Chi.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon with Rev. Michael Lingaur officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
