Tonya Werda

Tonya Werda, 50, of Alpena passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper in Saginaw.

Tonya was born in Flint on July 17, 1971, to Thomas and Constance (Pringle) Werda.  She worked as a substitute teacher and for the past 10 years has worked at Pace and Hong Auctions.  Tonya enjoyed collecting antiques, holiday decorations, and reading.  Everyone that has known Tonya will remember her for her loving, caring and selfless personality.

Surviving are 3 children, Luke, Katie, Piper; her mother, Connie Werda; 6 siblings, Tammy (Kevin McEwen) Werda, Shane Werda, Michael (Amy) Glass, Tina Werda, Wayne (Jennifer) Werda, Brian Werda; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tonya was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Werda, June 22, 2021.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Friday from 12 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Dan Williams officiating.  Live streaming will be available at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.
