Thomas Werda

Thomas Leon Werda, 75, of Alpena passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at home.

Thomas was born on February 6, 1946, in Alpena to the late Leo and Margaret (Sobek) Werda. On April 30, 1973, he married Constance Pringle. Thomas worked at Walmart for the past 20 years. He enjoyed collecting antiques, auctions, hunting, fishing, and going to camp.

Surviving are his wife, Connie; seven children, Tonya Werda, Tammy (Kevin McEwen) Werda, Shane Werda, Michael (Amy) Glass, Tina Werda, Wayne (Jennifer) Werda, Brian Werda; 13 grandchildren, Luke, Katie, Piper, Justin, Daniel, Harley, Aiden, Meadow, Michaela, London, Ashley, Alyssa, Taylor; two great grandchildren, Anthony, Adrien; four siblings, Margie (Tony) Byers, Robert (Connie) Werda, Marilyn (Howard) Dellar, and Carol Herbert.

Memorial visitation will take place Thursday at Bannan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brian Becker officiating. Live streaming is available at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.
