Thomas Lee Reynolds

Thomas Lee Reynolds Sr., 83, of Alpena passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at home.

Thomas was born October 31, 1939, in Alpena to the late Curtis and Norma (Diem) Reynolds. He served in the United States Army. On September 15, 1962, he married Karen McConnell. They were married for 54 years. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2016.  

Thomas enjoyed garage sales, pop can picking, puttering around his garage working on his many projects, sport of hunting, and visiting with friends and family.

Surviving are his daughters, Kimberly (Dan) Bailey, Debbie (Ken) Cook, Pam (Kevin Neumann) Reynolds; sons, Thomas (Liz) Reynolds Jr., Rex (Gene) Reynolds; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; sister, Karen (Greg) Buszka; sister-in-law, Donna Reynolds; brother-in-law, Jay Robarge; hunting partner and nephew, George Shubert; and many other nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by seven siblings, Donna Lou Reynolds, Wilma Jean Reynolds, Richard Reynolds, Eloise Shubert, Lynn Robarge, Robert Reynolds, and Curtis Reynolds.

Visitation will take place Monday at Bannan Funeral Home from noon until the funeral service at 4 p.m. with Rev. Arnie Kirschner officiating. Military honors will be accorded him by Alpena VFW Post 2496.
