Stewart James Highhouse

Stewart “Stu” James Highhouse, III, 68, of Alpena passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at his home.

Stewart James Highhouse, III was born in El Paso, Texas on February 2, 1954, to the late Stewart and Carmen (Hernandez) Highhouse, Jr.  Stu enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and was a member of the Michigan Independent Riders Group.  On June 14, 2000, he married JoAnna Ereaux.

Surviving are his wife, JoAnna; 7 children, S. James (Kellie) Highhouse, IV, Stacy (Gabe) Donnelly, Tracy Highhouse, Tom (Laurie) Jones, Tammy (Joe) Wood, Corey (Micah) Fager, Jennifer (Jason) Koperski; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Scott Highhouse; Matthew (Karen) Highhouse; several nieces and nephews.

Stu was preceded in death by daughter, Sandy Norrup and brother, Richard Highhouse.

Visitation will take place on Friday,  October 14, 2022, at the Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and where the funeral service taking place on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Interment: Mt. Joy Cemetery
