Stanley John Dziesinski

Stanley John Dziesinski, 74, of Alpena passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at home.

 

Stanley was born September 27, 1948, in Alpena to the late Alexander and Anna (Chalupniczak) Dziesinski. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On November 7, 1990, he married Carol Lange. Stanley worked at Alpena County Road Commission for 36 years and J.C.D. Trucking.

 

Surviving are his wife, Carol; three children, Kaitlyn (Alberto) Vargas-Leija, Laura (Gary) Wales, Cora (Anton) Wagner; step daughter, Candace (Bill) Sanderson; grandchildren, Will (Megan) Wales, Anton, Charles, Raymond, Andrew, and Samantha Wagner, Kylie (Kyle) Cragg, Dawson, Sanderson; three sisters, Diane (Dick) Spicer, Eileen Frantz, Barbara Dziesinski (Rich Skowronski); three brothers, Ted (Karen) Dziesinski, Kenneth (Tricia) Dziesinski, Randy Dziesinski; two sisters-in-law, Janet Dziesinski, Connie Dziesinski; brother-in-law, Don Schilstra; many nieces and nephews.

 

Stanley was preceded in death by his son, Dale Dziesinski; sister, Marianne Schilstra; brothers, Don, Larry, and Steven Dziesinski; brother-in-law, Richard Frantz.

 

Per Stan’s wishes there will be no services. A graveside service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been made by the Bannan Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter.
