Rosemary "Chickie" Ann Tovey

Rosemary Ann “Chickie” Tovey, 75, of Alpena passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center.

Rosemary Ann Pokorzynski was born in Alpena on September 11, 1945 to the late Frank and Viola (Dziesinski) Pokorzynski.  She was a member of All Saints Parish and enjoyed playing Bingo.

Surviving are her children, Bruce Tovey, Carmen McMenemy, David (Zeina) Tovey; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild;  8 siblings, James (Marion) Pokorzynski, Betty (Al) Giroux, Lucille (Frank) Wall, Carol Summerfield, John Pokorzynski, Violet (Harley) Pilarski, Connie (Bob) Werda, Tom (Trish) Pokorzynski; sisters-in-law, Pat Pokozynski, Barb Pokorzynski; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a son, Jere Tovey; 6 siblings, Eugene Pokozynski, Frank Pokorzynski, David Pokorzynski, Eleanor Werda, Dolores Donajkowski, and Patrick Pokorzynski.

Visitation will take place at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.  For those unable to attend Mass will be streamed at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
