Robert McDonald

Robert Raymond McDonald, 81, of Black River passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at his home.

Robert was born in Alpena on April 9, 1938 to the late Bernard and June (Greene) McDonald.  He served in the United States Navy.  On August 31, 1991 he married Kitty Zielaskowski.  Bob was a longtime member of Brown Bottle Hunting Camp and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife Kitty, daughter, Debra (Kent) Artley; granddaughters, Katelyn, Kelsey; siblings, Jeanette Marusak, Richard (Marie) McDonald, Cynthia Snyder; several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Charles Marusak and Eldon Snyder.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
