Rita Losinski

Rita Theresa Losinski, 82, of Alpena passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at her home.

Rita Theresa Kieliszewski was born on December 5, 1938 in Posen, Michigan to the late John and Frances (Kierzek) Kieliszewski. On September 9, 1961, she married Richard Losinski. Rita worked as a lab technician at Alpena General Hospital, retiring in 1994. She was a member of All Saints Parish, its Sodality group, garden club and enjoyed bowling, golf, and spending time with the grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Richard; daughter, Denise (Bill) Keen; son-in-law, Jeff Eckhart; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Keen, Nicholas Eckhart, Dr. Emily (Kevin) Wyman, Nathan Eckhart; four siblings, Virginia Tadajewski, MaryAnn Benkert, Clifford Kelly, Emily (Al) Cantrell; several nieces and nephews; and faithful pet, Beau.

Mrs. Losinski was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynda Eckhart; six siblings, Harry Kieliszewski, Alice Tadajewski, Jane Krajniak, Blondine Kelly, Frances Kelly, and Daniel Kieliszewski.

Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 2 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating. For those unable to attend,  Mass will be streamed at www.bannanfuneralhome.com. Committal prayers for her late daughter, Lynda will follow Mass at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
