Phillip "Gene" Gasperin

Phillip Eugene Gasperin, 89, of Alpena passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020, at his home.

Gene was born on July 8, 1930 in Collinsville, Illinois to the late Guido and Irene (Valine) Gasperin. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On July 30, 1955, he married Constance Riggs. She preceded him in death on October 27, 2010. Gene enjoyed hunting, sailing, and his cats. He was a life member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Surviving are his two children, Scott Gasperin and Loree (Tim) Kirschner.

Mr. Gasperin was preceded in death by his sister, Annetta Mecalo.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
