Mickie Clouse

Micaela “Mickie” (Alvarado) Clouse, age 93, of Hubbard Lake passed away February 6, 2021 in Hubbard Lake, Michigan.

Mickie was born on September 29, 1927 in Victoria, Texas to the late Pedro and Pilar (Velasques) Alvarado. She worked at and retired from AC Spark Plug in Flint, Michigan. Mickie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Ossineke, Michigan, and Hope Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake, Michigan.  Mickie loved to garden, hunt, fish, cook, and sew.

She is survived by 4 children, Florence Peters, Petronila Hurtado, Mary (Tom) Watson, Joseph Amaya, Liz (Paul) Cavanaugh; 4 stepchildren, Deborah (Richard) Dodge, Diane (Wesley) Harper, Carol (Gary) Pager, Cynthia (Kevin) Roberts; brother, Senon “Bo” Alvarado; sister, Christine Servantes; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Mrs. Clouse was preceded in death by her daughters, Virginia Riffe and Mickie Ann Amaya; and 5 siblings.

Her presence will be greatly missed by those closest to her.

Mickie has donated her body to science. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
