Mary Anderson

Mary Therese Anderson, 93, of Ossineke passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mary Therese Livernois was born in Detroit on January 12, 1928 to the late Lawrence and Teresa (Carr) Livernois.  On October 21, 1950 she married her sweetheart, Clifford Anderson.  He preceded her in death on September 19, 2016.  She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church and an active member of Michigan Right to Life.  A lifelong faithful Catholic, she loved her church.  She loved her family.  She loved her friends.  Mary had an indomitable, independent sprit.  And she was a very sociable person, her eyes would light up whenever she would talk with other people.

Surviving are her 6 children, Kathleen Kyle, Mark Anderson, Michael Anderson, Ronald (Fran) Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Kristine (Branko) Bajagic; 10 grandchildren, Kara, Kristin, Kasey, David, Nicole, Michael, Taressa, Jesse, Bernadette, Alexander; 3 great grandchildren, Alexander, Brody, Logan; brother, Thomas (Rene) Livernois; sister, Virginia Livernois; many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a grandson, Kory; brother, Richard Livernois and sister, Joan Fitzpatrick.

Memorial visitation will take place at St. Catherine Catholic Church on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 12 noon until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating.  The Mass will be live streamed at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.  Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
