Mary Neumann

Mary Louise Neumann, 90, of Herron passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at home.

Mary Louis Cole was born in Alpena on May 1, 1931, to the late Paul and Elizabeth (Orban) Cole.  She married Donald Neumann on September 2, 1950.  He preceded her in death on April 6, 1976.  Together they owned and operated the Bullpen Bar in Herron for many years.  She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and loved children.

Surviving are 3 children, Terry Neumann, Judy Smith, Dawn (Don Lewis) Neumann; daughter-in-law, Sherry Neumann; 5 grandchildren, Scott Smith, Terra (Jeff) McDonald, Sharlene (Ryan) Smith, Melissa Pedderson, Joe Mousseau; 9 great grandchildren, Kaleb, Lauren, Madison, Ashleigh, Zachary, Savannah, Gavin, Christian, Lucas; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Neumann was preceded in death by 2 grandson, Chad Smith, Willie Pedderson; and 9 siblings.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the Bannan Funeral Home form 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.  Streaming will be available at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.
