Marie Bauer

Marie Mildred Bauer, 88, of Alpena passed away, Saturday, August 1, 2020 at her home with her family at her side.

Marie Mildred Miller was born in Detroit on July 13, 1932 to the late Edwin and Gertrude (Petrie) Miller.  She worked as a home health aide and was a member of All Saints Parish.

Surviving are children, Nancy Kowalski, David (Cheryl) Bauer, Kenneth (Darla) Bauer, Jeffery (Claire) Girard, Anthony (Brenda) Bauer, Andrew (Kerri) Bauer; 12 grandchildren, Raymond, Daniel, Lauren, Jacob, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Cody, Brittany, Clay, Mason, Keegan; 3 great grandchildren, Blake, Everett, Kamden; sisters, Joan Couwlier, Margaret “Peggy” Weber; sister-in-law, Dorothy Miller; several nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by daughter, Julie Girard, granddaughter, Tabitha; and brother, James Miller.

Memorial visitation will take place at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 2 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.  Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
