Margaret Highfill

Margaret Louise Highfill, 65, of Alpena passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Medilodge of Alpena.

Margaret Louise Foster was born on January 14, 1955 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late G. James and Grace (Thomas) Foster. On January 4, 1975, she married William Highfill. Margaret was active in the Catholic faith for years before she became ill. She enjoyed baking, reading, and making sweet tea.

Surviving are her husband, Dave; two children, Aaron Highfill, Kirsten Ledington; granddaughter, Ashlyn Ledington; six siblings, James (Sue) Foster, Thomas (Carol) Foster, Mary Root, Cathy (Ed) Anderson, John (Kim) Foster, and Christine (Greg) Kirbie.

Mrs. Highfill was preceded in death by two siblings, Ann Marie Foster and Steven Foster.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at a later time.
