Lyle Ralph Shaw

Lyle Ralph Shaw, 87, of Alpena passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Lyle was born on March 9, 1934, in Alcona County, Michigan to the late Ralph and Eula (Schaub) Shaw. On May 11, 1957, he married Joanne Meno. Lyle worked at Besser Company retiring in 1996 and did mason contracting in his “spare” time. He attended Word of Life Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking and helping others. Lyle spent his vacation doing mission trips multiple times.

Surviving are his wife, Joanne; two children, Connie (Jerry) Tracey, Larry (Rhonda) Shaw; six grandchildren, Andrew (Tiffany) Tracey, Danielle (Jason) Ford, Michaela (Michael) Tweh, Keisha Shaw, Heather (Thomas) Sullivan, Deanna Shaw; ten great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Jay) Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Friday, January 21, 2022, at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. and continue Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Word of Life Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Scott Joy officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
