Lourrie McDonald

Lourrie Charlene McDonald, 60, of Alpena passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Lourrie Charlene May was born on September 18, 1959 in Alpena to Charles and Marvis (Spigelmyre) May. On July 26, 2005, she married Ronald McDonald. Lourrie was an artist, enjoying painting, spending time with her grandchildren and the family at the cottage on Long Lake.

Surviving are her husband, Ron; two children, Ashley McConnell, Brandon (Chelsea) McConnell; 5 grandchildren, Arianna, Cameron, Hayden, Harper, Harlow; her parents, Charles and Marvis May; three siblings, Greg (Donna) May, Chuck (Krystal) May, Frank (Daniell) May; four nieces and nephews, Mitchell (Ashley), Jarred (Morgan), Danielle, Cassidy; and godmother, Barb Bates.

Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thelma and Paul Spigelmyre, Dorothy Johnson and Melvin May; godfather, Wesley Spigelmyre; and niece, Amber May.

Memorial visitation will take place Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Bannan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 noon with Pastor Paul Spigelmyre officiating.
