Lorene Reinstein

Lorene Patricia Reinstein, 81, of Alpena passed away Monday, March 2, 2020, at her home.

Lorene Patricia Johnson was born on February 6, 1939 in Alpena to the late George and Roseanna (Souls) Johnson. On March 3, 1962, she married Winton Reinstein. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2011. Lorene worked as a housekeeper for Alpena General Hospital for 10 years. She enjoyed reading and was a prayer warrior.

Surviving are her four daughters, Jacqueline (Jerry) Zaske, Victoria Peppel, Tammy Grabiel, Wendy Septrion; 4 grandchildren, Stacy (Shawn) Schultz, Jessica Bowen, Eric (Cara) Spleet, Haileigh (Alex) Neidrach; 8 great grandchildren; and sister, Patsy (Jerry) Modrzynski.

Mrs. Reinstein was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Marek, Oliveen Marek, Sarah Geddert; and two brothers, James Johnson and Gary Johnson.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
