Lily Singleton

Lily May Singleton, 74, of Hillman passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Lily May Mathews was born in Hillman on July 16, 1945 to the late William and Emily Mathews.  She graduated from Hillman High School in 1963.  She worked in Detroit at Jackson Injection Molding for 20 years and returned to Hillman in 2003.  She enjoyed going to the casino and playing Bingo.  Lily adored her dog Sweet Pea and cats Sassy and Tiger.  She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Wilson on January 17, 2016 and 6 siblings.

Surviving are nieces and nephew, Christina (Brian) Hord, Richard Mathews, Amanda Kelly; great nephew and niece Anthony and Casey; and her friends Matt and Barb Needham and Nancy LaFrance.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Bannan Funeral Home in Hillman from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Pastor Jerry Robertson officiating.
