June MacMillan

June W. MacMillan, 82, of Lachine passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

June Willamina MacMillan was born in Long Rapids on December 14, 1938 to the late John and Laura (Kirchoff) MacMillan.  She worked as a nurse’s aide, retiring from the Hillman Nursing Home.  June enjoyed reading, playing cards, and watching tv.  She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena and Long Rapids Woman’s Fellowship.

Surviving are several cousins and friends.

Visitation will take place at Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the private funeral service (restricted to 25 people) at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Shipman officiating.  For those unable to attend the funeral service, it will be livestreamed at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.

Interment: Long Rapids Twp. Cemetery

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church – Alpena.
