Joseph Keith Mausolf, 99, of Alpena passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Hillman’s Haven.

Joe was born in Alpena on May 5, 1921 to the late Joseph and Eva (Belanger) Mausolf.  On May 29, 1943, he married Virginia Mae LeRoux.  She preceded him in death on October 5, 1994.  Joe owned and operated Joe’s Gulf Station in the 1940’s.  In 1952, he went to work for Huron Portland Cement Company as a repairman. He retired in July 1983 from then, National Gypsum.  He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and now All Saints Parish.

Surviving are brother, Kenneth Mausolf; 2 sisters, Virginia Rice, Diane Laseck; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr.  Mausolf was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Rosalie (George) Storey, infant Mary Mausolf; brother, Darwin (Mabel) Mausolf; sister-in-law, Linda Mausolf; brothers-in-law, Frank Rice and Alvin Laseck.

Private graveside service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.  Memorial visitation will take place Friday, August 21, 2020 at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 2 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
