John Kropp

John T. Kropp, 68, of Alpena, Michigan, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.

John was a kind, caring soul who became a friend the moment you met him.  He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him and will be fondly remembered for putting “family first” and the needs of others above his own. Taking great pride in his work and a job well done, John was always at the ready to help others. Born in Garden City, Michigan on June 24, 1953, to John and Helen (Marek) Kropp, John is survived by his twin brother, James (Vicky) Kropp; sister, Jeannie Cousineau; special friend, Chris Frank and furry companion, Max; many nieces and nephews with special mention of nephew and close friend, Michael (Julie) Cousineau.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Kropp; sister, Joyce Worniak; and brother-in-law, Ted Worniak.

A celebration of life for John will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
