Jimmie Fournier

Jimmie Lee Fournier, 75, of Alpena passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home.

Jim was born in Alpena on June 17, 1945 to the late George and Arlene (Smith) Fournier.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp.  He enjoyed hunting, racing horses, bowling, trained in judo, and loved his dogs.

Surviving are 6 children, Andre (Jill) Fournier, Angela (Tom) Cantilon, Keith (Janell) Fournier, Colleen Egelski, Nicole (Guy) Thompson, Hasan Fournier; and 19 grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Kathy Sylvester, Carol Morrison, and Larry Fournier.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.  A graveside service will take place at a later date.

Interment: Long Rapids Cemetery
