Jennifer Marie Jones, 40, of Alpena passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her home.
Jennifer was born in Alpena on October 9, 1980 to Thomas and Jane (Szymanski) Jones. She graduated from Ferris State University hospital administration and enjoyed going to Belle Bay, concerts and listening to music. She was an avid contestant in the Brown Trout Women’s Classic for many years proudly taking first place in 2019.
Surviving are her daughter, Taylor Raine Widajewski; father, Tom and Shirley Jones; mother, Jane Jones; brother, Bruce Jones; step-sisters, Sarah (Julius) Lema; Kelli Watlins; step-brother Brett (JoJo) Robins; several aunt, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Jenny was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Jeff Longstreet in 2018; her grandparents, Thomas and Dolores Jones, Clarence “Choker” and June Szymanski; uncle, Thomas Szymanski and an aunt, Vicki Jones.
Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the private parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorial visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from2 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with Rev.
