Jane Twite

Jane Florence Twite, 95, of Alpena passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her home.

Jane Florence Modrzynski was born on September 8, 1924 in Alpena to the late Stanley and Mary (Wisniewski) Modrzynski. On February 2, 1946, she married Mark Twite. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1985. Jane was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She loved being outdoors, reading, and watching her grandchildren play ball.

Surviving are her four children, Michael (Marie) Twite, Mary Jane (William) Kruczynski, Susan Twite, Kathy (Derral) Easter; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Twite was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert, Julius, Clarence, Ed, Harry, Stanley, John, Mary Gougon, Martha Repke, Helen Lechtanski, Angeline Kujawa, Tracy Gorski; infant siblings, Walter, Adam, Eva, and Veronica.

Memorial visitation will take place Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 2 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. with Rev. Scott Lawler officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
