James Kelly

James Thomas Kelly, 68, of Alpena passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland.

James was born on November 16, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York to the late John and Madeline (Cotto) Kelly. On September 9, 1989, he married Renee Kaschner. James loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being with family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Renee; daughter, Marsha; siblings, Joanie (Frank) Rivera, Maureen (Darren) Ryan, Henry Kelly; several nieces and nephews that he greatly loved; natural mother, Mercedes Elam; mother-in-law, Marlene Kaschner; brother-in-law, Alan & Kimberly Kaschner and family.

Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie, Thomas, John and father-in-law, Bill Kaschner.

A graveside service will take place Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Hope Cemetery at 11 a.m. with Rev. Randy Conley officiating. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
