James "Jim" Raymond Ritzler

James (Jim) Raymond Ritzler, 85, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.

Jim was a lifelong resident of Alpena, MI. He served in United States Army for two years, stationed in Germany. He was a co-owner of Ritzler Dry Cleaners. Jim was an active member of St Anne Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years and also an active member of Knights of Columbus.

Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Suzette; three sons, Brian, Brad and Paul; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rose Ritzler and two brothers, William and Richard.

A memorial will be celebrated in the future. If you would like to hold a personal remembrance, may we suggest, supporting a local business with a take-out meal and opening a beverage of your choice with a toast to Jim and anyone else you would like to remember. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Michigan and Alpena Senior Citizen Center.
