James Doetsch

James Frank Doetsch, 77, of Lachine passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at MyMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

James was born on June 11, 1944, in Paris, Texas to the late Frank and Pearl (Arnold) Doetsch. On August 5, 1988, he married Shirley Holbrook. James enjoyed playing Euchre, fishing trips to Canada, puzzles, and spending time outdoors with his dogs.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley; three children, William (Heather) Doetsch, Jamie (Tracy Alt) Doetsch, Julie (Patrick) Selby; two step-children, Will (Debbie) Dyer, Scott (Terrie) Dyer; ten grandchildren, Andrew (Angela), Alex, Addy, Amanda, Kailee, Shane, Rebecca (Jack), Veronica, Brandi, and Krysta; six great grandchildren, Angelo, Dominic, Jack, Nolan, Hunter, and Ryker.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday, January 7, 2022, at Bannan Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Arnie Kirschner officiating. Streaming will be available at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.
