Irene “Rene” Pamerleau, age 87, of Murrysville died Thursday, July 1, 2021, in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville.
She was born October 7, 1933, in Alpena, MI; a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Putkamer) Beaubien. She was a retired Head Secretary at Okemos High School in MI for 25 years. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Rene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Pamerleau; a daughter, Cheri Rafferty and several siblings. Surviving are her loving son, William “Bill” Pamerleau, II and his wife Gayle of Export; grandchildren, Ian and Claire Pamerleau, Rachel Grymko, David Rafferty, Ashley Kusmanoff; 5 great grandchildren and a son In-law, Dave Rafferty. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family welcome Monday, August 16, at St. Anne Church of All Saints Parish from 10 a.m. until time of mass at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating. Arrangements by Bannan Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Rene’s name to the Humane Society.
