Harold Williams

Harold Orr Williams of Alpena passed away at his home on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the age of 89 with his beloved family at his side.

Harold was born on September 21, 1931 in Belleville, IL to the late Robert and Irene Williams. After graduating from Belleville High School, Harold moved to Detroit, Michigan and met soon-to-be wife, Arlene Larson. They were married on July 14, 1954 and raised their sons, Daniel Orr and Patrick Joel in Livonia, Michigan. It was there that Harold retired as the Director of Sales at Dearborn Fabricating and Engineering.

After Arlene’s passing on November 29, 2002, Harold met Patricia Marwede and they were married on August 5, 2004. Patricia Marwede had four children of her own - Alan, Paul, DeLynn and Cheryl.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, son Patrick (Jennifer) Williams, daughter-in-law, Candee Williams, and stepchildren Alan Marwede, Paul (Dawn) Marwede , DeLynn (Matt) Shedlock and Cheryl Marwede. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Riley, Ethan, Madeline, Seancy, Andrew, Rachel, Jessica, Brady, Gracie, Madelynn, Jacob, Adam and great-granddaughter, Shayna.

Harold was preceded in death by his son Daniel, brother Bobby and sister Wilma Looney.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Paul Lutheran Church of Hubbard Lake.
