Gladys Anderson

Gladys P. Anderson, 97, of Alpena passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Touch of Country home.

Gladys Pearl Blow was born on December 26, 1922 in Lachine, Michigan to the late Fred and Edna (Walmsley) Blow. Gladys was married to Harold Anderson who preceded her in death. She was a cook at Lincoln School for many years. Gladys enjoyed crosswords and puzzles and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren for all the holidays.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Polly) Anderson, Bill (Fran) Anderson; daughter, Penny Anderson; grandchildren, Lori, Scott, Stacie, Kim; great grandchildren, Michael, Alicia, Mikayla, Autumn, Morgan, Gavin, Gabby, Ronnie, Maddie; great-great grandchildren, Claire, Aleya, and Judah.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her brother, Clare and sister, Marge Weise.

Visitation will take place Sunday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2-6 p.m. and continue there Monday from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. Dr. Paul Lance officiating.
