Eleanor Lutze

Eleanor Maxine Lutze, 91, of Hillman passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at her home.

Eleanor Maxine Tripp was born on February 2, 1929 in Atlanta, Michigan to the late James and Alice (McMurphy) Tripp. On February 24, 1951, she married Robert Lutze. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2007. Eleanor worked as a clerk for the Village of Hillman for 16 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Hillman United Methodist Church and Hillman Lions Club.

Surviving are her daughter, Shanna (Marvin) Johnson; son, Steven (Nancie) Lutze; 4 grandchildren, Justin, Travis, Cody, Tanner; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Yvonne (Gary) DeRosia; and sister-in-law, Florence Tripp.

Mrs. Lutze was preceded in death by her brother, Garnet Tripp; and sister, Helen Keyworth.

Visitation will take place Friday at Hillman United Methodist Church from 4-8 p.m. and continue there Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Lisa Kelley officiating. Arrangements by Bannan Funeral Home.
