Donna Marie Anderson, 81, of Alpena passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena due to complications of Covid-19.

Donna Marie Dubey was born on November 6, 1939 in Alpena to the late Leo and Margaret (Mayou) Dubey and married Terrence Anderson on January 16, 1960.  She retired from Alpena Township Water Department.  She was an active volunteer crocheting and knitting hundreds of hats for The Baby Pantry and The Children’s Closet.  She was a charter member of Aide by the Dozen Group 2, member of Little League Auxiliary, Alpena Antique Tractor and Steam Engine Club, enjoyed country music, the casino and following her grandchildren’s many activities.  Donna was a member of All Saints Parish.

Surviving are her husband, Terry, 3 children, Patrick and Missy Anderson, Lori and David Zeller, Steven and Diane Anderson; 9 grandchildren, Ryan, Crystal, Trisha, Eric, Sara, Samantha, Jamie, Brandi, Megan; 7 great grandchildren, Hailey, Lily, Blake, Adelynn, Tyrion, Kash, Maverick; 3 siblings, Larry and Christine Dubey, Carole and James Kieliszewski, Lee and Elgene Dubey; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a brother, David Dubey.

Private memorial service will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating. The service will be live streamed at www.bannanfuneralhome.com for those that are unable to attend.

Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: All Saints Parish, The Baby Pantry or The Children’s Closet.
