Donald Dowling

Donald Dale Dowling, 60, of Hillman passed away Friday, November 5, 2021, at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Donald was born in Alpena on March 30, 1961, to the late Bernard and Sandra (Fifer) Dowling. He married Janean M. Meeuwenberg on April 16, 2005. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Janean; two sons, Daniel Dowling, Jason (fiancé Andrew Ponce De Leon) Dowling; daughter, Jolene Dowling; step-son, Kevin Meeuwenberg; grandchildren, Cameron (Harley) Dowling, Alyssa Dowling, Benjermin Dowling; great grandchild, Layla Dowling; two brothers, David (Sue) Dowling, Dale (Jennifer) Dowling; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dowling was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Dowling; and  grandmother, Hazel Heussner.

Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home in HILLMAN on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Timothy Decker officiating.
