Dolores Ross

Dolores Elaine Ross, 86, of Alpena passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at her home.

Dolores Elaine Kurkerwicz was born in Alpena on October 20, 1932 to the late John and Anna (Pokorski) Kurkerwicz. On May 7, 1949, she married William Ross. Dolores worked as a cook for Alpena Public Schools. She was a member of All Saints Parish. Dolores loved cooking and baking for family gatherings.

Surviving are her husband, William; 4 sons, Bill (Sandy) Ross, Gary (Heidi) Ross, Jim (Stacie) Ross, Tom (Terri) Ross; 8 grandchildren, Brian, Elizabeth, Christopher, Emily, Katie, Becky, Anne, Zachary; 8 great grandchildren; and sister, Laura (Louis) Bey.

Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday at Bannan Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until the memorial service at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.
