Dolores Connon

Dolores Marie Connon, 74, of Lachine passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Dolores Marie Kuivinen was born September 9, 1944 in Lewiston, Michigan to the late George and Naomi (Couchon) Kuivinen. On August 23, 1985, she married Gerald Connon. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2013. Dolores worked as a bookkeeper at Don’s Tractor for 20 years, retiring in 2018. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with family.

Surviving are her three children, Jeff Weiland, Julie Pieart, Jim Weiland; 2 grandsons, Frankie (Katy Samp) Pieart, Anthony (Josie Singleton) Pieart; 3 granddaughters, Emmie, Kylie, Leah; brother, Duane (Lola) Kuivinen; and sister, DeLynn Pettit.

Mrs. Connon was preceded in death by her brother, Darryl Kuivinen.

Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday at Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kendall Sumerix officiating.
