Diane Elaine Bolda, 80, of Hubbard Lake passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her home.
Diane Elaine Zyla was born in Detroit on May 31, 1940 to the late Joseph and Bernice (Miller) Zyla. She worked as a Registered Nurse retiring from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 2012. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, enjoyed crocheting, her book club, and watching and feeding birds.
Surviving are her 4 children, Deborah (Paul) Klink, Christopher (Jean) Bolda, Cynthia (Kirk) Young, Joanne (Gerald) Harp; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Richard (Bette) Zyla, Charles Zyla, Timothy (Kathy) Zyla; several nieces and nephews.
Diane was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Zyla.
Visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 2 p.m. until the time of the private prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Catherine Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tyler Bischoff officiating. For those unable to attend Mass it will be livestreamed at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.
