Dennis Kamyszek

Dennis Norman Kamyszek, 63, a lifelong resident of Alpena passed away peacefully Thursday, July 11, 2019 at his home.

Dennis was born October 5, 1955, in Alpena to Norman and Marian (Ciupka) Kamyszek. He married Karen Holmes on September 3, 1988. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He especially loved his time bear hunting with his cousin, Lavern. Most of all he loved spending time with his family creating lasting memories.

Surviving are his wife, Karen; two children, Mandy Molby, Justin Kamyszek; 3 grandchildren, Sofia, Mackenzie, Kameron; mother, Marian Kamyszek; 7 siblings, Pat (Dave) Kasubowski, Jeanette Johnson, Karen (John) Jones, Michael (Tammy) Kamyszek, Cindy (Tom) Lucas, James (Kerrie) Kamyszek, Brian (Peggy) Kamyszek; many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Norman; and brother-in-law, Louie Johnson.

Memorial visitation will take place at Bannan Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 p.m. until the memorial service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Muszkiewicz officiating.

Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
