Delores Ann Troupe, 84, of Herron, was escorted to her heavenly home with Jesus on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Her family was present to sing her into Glory and to say, “See You Later”.
Delores Ann Eagle was born in Alpena on November 5, 1938, to the late Arnold and Hannah (Pace) Eagle. She married the love of her life, Dale Troupe, on September 5, 1959.
As a little girl she sang a song “Come into My heart Lord Jesus”. Since that day she served Jesus faithfully. God gave her a beautiful voice and she sang for Jesus wherever she went, even when she was in the hospital as long as she had breath to sing. She was a member of the Beaver Lake Community Church for 47 years, serving as a Sunday School teacher, and Missionette Coordinator. She taught her children, and grandchildren to live for Jesus. In her later years she wrote a book and shared it with many.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Dale; three children, Tamyra (Lou) Henkel, Tim (Bonnie) Troupe, Teresa (Dave) Prevost; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Clarence (Cheryl) Eagle, sister, Shirley Robert; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Troupe was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Grove, Leona Eagle and Loreen Eagle.
Come celebrate her life on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Beaver Lake Community Church from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m., with John Williams officiating.
Inurnment: King Settlement Cemetery
