David Schaedig

David Lee Schaedig, 49, of Alpena passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at his home.

David was born on October 20, 1970 in Alpena, Michigan to Denny and Carol (Elowsky) Schaedig. He worked at Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health. David was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Dave graduated from Lake Superior State University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  He enjoyed playing baseball and hunting.

Surviving are his mother, Carol; three brothers, Mark, Wayne, Glenn; two nieces, Shelby, Nicole; two nephews, Spencer, Matthew; friends, Joe Mousseau, Duane Keller; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his father, Denny Schaedig.

Memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.  For those unable to attend, the memorial service will be live on the Bannan Funeral Home Facebook page.  Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
