Charles Schalla

Charles Earl Schalla, 91, of Alpena passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021.

Charles was born July 17, 1930, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Walter and Doris (Cook) Schalla. He served in the United States Navy. On August 18, 1951, he married Rose Marie Dreps. Charles enjoyed sailing.

Surviving are his wife Rose Marie; daughter, Kristine (Craig) Barrett; grandson, and Zach (Hannah Berryman) Barrett. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Schalla and sister, Clarice Mars.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
