Caryl Sue Anderson, 81, passed away peacefully at Sally’s Care Home on December 2, 2021.
Caryl Sue Farrier was born on February 2, 1940, to Ervin and Evelyn Farrier of Hillman. Caryl graduated from Hillman High School in 1958 and attended Central Michigan University. She married William Emerson in 1961, and together they had one daughter, Sheri. Caryl worked as a florist for Linke’s and the Flower Spot for many years. She loved her family and friends, enjoyed her house on the lake, and her door was always open.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Emerson Sanders (Alan Wallace) of Tempe, Arizona and Labrador City, Canada, and two grandchildren, Ryan Marable-Sanders (Madison) of Ann Arbor and Paige Sanders of Tempe, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her second husband, Gary Anderson.
Memorial visitation will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena on Thursday, December 9 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm and where memorial services will be on Friday, December 10 at 11:00 am with Rev. Arnie Kirchner officiating. The service will be streamed live at www.bannanfuneralhome.com.
Inurnment will be at Hillman-Rust Cemetery.
