Carol Krentz

Carol Ann Krentz, 77, of Hubbard Lake passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Carol Ann Hiske was born on January 14, 1943 in Detroit to the late William and Ella (Krist) Hiske. On October 6, 1978, she married Alfred N. Krentz. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2016. Carol was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters, Kelly (Curt) Miller, Lori Kornelson, Tammy (Billy) Stevens; son, Kim Krentz; 4 grandchildren, Curtis (Ammie) Miller, Kayla (Larry) Williams, Lindsey Kornelson, Erin (Danny) Beason; 8 great grandchildren; and brother, Dennis (Mariette Jore) Hiske.

Mrs. Krentz was preceded in death by her great grandson, Dylan Beason; brother, William Hiske; and sister, Roselynn Krentz.

Visitation will take place Monday at Hope Lutheran Church from 12 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Randy Conley officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.

Interment:  Hubbard Lake Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Build Hope.
