Carl Pilarski

Carl Thomas Pilarski, 71, of Maple Ridge passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Carl was born in Detroit on April 14, 1948 to the late Leo and Connie (Jozwiak) Pilarski.  He served in the United States Army from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1970.  On June 27, 1970 he married JoAnn Huggler.  He worked at Stoneport until his retirement in 2007.  He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.  Carl loved nature, including gardening, fishing, hunting and Wednesday card club.  He will be remembered for his great hugs, his love of his family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and all of his pets.

Surviving are wife, JoAnn; 3 children, Andrew Pilarski, Kristen (Aaron) Bedore, Jacob (Ginger) Pilarski; 4 grandchildren, Brittany (Marc) Smith, Joshua Pilarski, Johnny Pilarski, Hunter Pilarski; 2 great grandchildren, Mila, Silas; brother, Stan and Sue Pilarski and a sister, Monica Dorr.

A memorial service will take place at later date.  Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
