Bertha Golder

Bertha H. Golder, 101, of Hubbard Lake passed away Sunday, November 28,  2021 in Warren.

Bertha Rakow was born in Hubbard Lake on December 6, 1919, to the late Carl and Emma (Kauer) Rakow.  On September 29, 1945, she married Erwin Golder.  He preceded her in death on January 20, 2007.  She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Debra (Alan Nancarrow) Golder and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Golder was preceded in death by her son, Gary in 2013, and 9 siblings, Hattie, Martha, Elsie, Millie, Anna, Ewald, Ernest, Henry and Edward.

A memorial service will take place at Our Shephard Lutheran Church in Birmingham on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11 a.m.  A graveside service will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery in Spruce followed by a memorial service at Hope Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake in the spring of 2022.  Arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
