Allan Currie

Allan Boyd Currie, 81, of Hillman passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, at MidMichigan Medical Center – Alpena.

Allan was born on February 15, 1940, in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada to the late Archie and Mabel (Ulin) Currie. He served in the United States Air Force. On October 2, 1965, he married Eileen Johnson. He was a member of New Beginning Ministries.

Surviving are his wife, Eileen; sister, Claudia Wirick; several nieces and nephews, including Marinea and Joseph Obrzut and Kevin Ulin. Allan was preceded in death by his siblings, Mig Brown and James Currie.

Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at New Beginnings Ministries from 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry Kirby officiating. Arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
